Back in NYC, I used to go to shows & parties @ C-Squat. It was a tenement that was converted over to the nefarious powers of punk... Anyway, the living spaces there were permeated by an awful smell - A mix of rotting meat, urine, spilled beer, chemicals and crust punk.

C-Squat is/was also known as skinhead graveyard....rumor has it there is a few buried in the yard after a fire. I used to crash there every once in a while in the early 80's...woot! wink

Yeah, I definitely saw my share of insane things there. Last time I was on the LES, the building had been rennovated and the 1st floor converted into a wine bar.
