I've had some clarity in my life just now. I started reading this book, the life-changing magic of tidying up. I know it's about cleaning and organizing your life, but it made me think.
The first chapter, Why can't I keep my house in order? The answer the book goes on to talk about is that you may not have learned how. As I was reading it, I put that same logic to a few things in my life. Like my friendships and relationships, maybe why it never works out with someone is because I never learned how.
We get brain-washed with all the love stories shoved down throats by Hollywood and books. We get sold a semi-realistic always works out outlook on love. The question I need to answer then is, what do I change to learn how to succeed at friendships and relationship? Because I guess I've been doing all the wrong things so far, so what is the right thing to do?
