Happy Valentines Day!
The 1st date I was supposed to go on with Jeff, I stood him up. Marines only want 1 thing: I knew! He waited for me. When I was dating someone else who was a jerk and later dumped me? Jeff was there. Some nonsense went down at work when we were still talking on the phone 8 years ago. He was there for me when I quit. My dog bit him and ruined his best suit when we moved in together. He shrugged it off.He willingly sold his most prized possession, a 1970 Cherry red Monte Carlo when we needed money for the baby. My ex-husband is insane: Hector took it upon himself to move to Japan with us for Pete's sake and he hasn't killed him yet!! I've gained a lot of weight and been a lot more ill since we met. He still loves me. I could go on and on but I won't. The starbucks and the roses and the fancy dinner and the outfit and spoiling he did for me today was just the cherry on top. He proves he loves me every day in his actions.
