you know what fuck it! im taking the day off work and putting it down as a mental health day!
Its been hell trying to get to work of late; the drains here just cant cope with a bit of rain.
Which makes parking for some people interesting
and walking the footpaths hazardous
and if its not the weather making things tricky its the trains, they are either running late because of the wet weather or they just get cancelled and you have to catch replacment buses... now having replacement buses doesnt sound to bad but when its Monday morning peak hour and the trains cancelled are to the airport and surrounding stations it turns into compleate chaos!
It took me three hours to get to work an hour of that was trying to get on a bus. it was hectic they kept changing where the buses would pull up to take passangers and which buses would go where. You had people getting on a bus that was stopping all staions only to be told once they sat down that it was an airport express only and if you wernt going to the airport to get off now.
once i finally did get a bus it didnt drop us at the actual station it was a random bus stop about a kilometer away from where i should be in an unfamiliar part of the city thank fuck i had maps on my phone and could work out which way i needed to go to get to work.
well thats my rant for a while I might go and find some other productive things to do with my day off seeing as the so called team manager is away in Germany with his girlfriend and left with only one set of instructions and i quote "this customer is going to be a cunt. deal with it as best you can" well this is my way of dealing with it
have fun out there SG world.
