I am going to start this by saying I never blog, I don't think I really have anything to say that people really want to hear. That being said I'm going to take a crack at it.
I got to go to the Blackheart Burlesque show at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis last night. I have been wanting to see a burlesque show since I was a kid and there was that episode of The Simpsons where Bart has to go work at the burlesque house, and I've wanted to see the suicide girls since I first heard about them in 2004. So as one would imagine I was pretty freakin excited. The show did not disappoint! From the music, the girls, the dance numbers, the way Katherine Suicide hosted and handled the crowd every single thing was absolutely perfect in every single way. From the moment the show started I was literally happier then I have been in about 3 years, I was so happy I thought I was going to die. I still haven't come back down yet.
On the drive home I felt like a kid leaving Disney land, I didn't want the night to end. Which I have to say was the only part of the show that I didn't like, was that it had to end, I could have stayed there forever.
So before I continue gushing like a little girl, I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Thank you to all of the suicide girls you all were absolutely amazing! You made he happier then I have been in a very very long time, that was unexpected and worth way more then the cost of the ticket.
Also if the powers that be want to put out a tour DVD or soundtrack, I know I wouldn't be the only one who would buy that as soon as I possibly could!
