Co-worker (still getting used to that word!) had to put her dog to sleep last night. Poor dog foolishly ate $1.75 in spare change and a suitcase lock. It was one of those little yappy dogs so it got sick really quick. After an operation to remove the metallic pieces, two blood transfusions and $8000 later, the dog couldn't recover, was in terrible pain, and they put it down.
Wow, $8000!!! I'd think they'd get a discount if the dog doesn't make it!
How the dog got ahold of a suitcase lock and ate it is beyond me...! That's why we used to keep our puppy in a cage when we weren't home until he learned what not to mess with. He still has a thing for dirty q-tips (but he doesn't swallow 'em!).
Looks like the recording equipment and drum kit will be coming on Valentines day. Projects progress!!!
O and my pal Mr. Burch got into a show at PS1 in Queens - which is GREAT news!!
