Hey, I just joined back.
A few new things have been going on. I'm getting ready to graduate in May so I'm looking for a yob. I really want to work with music so I've been shopping myself around. I really want to work for Crush Management. They have so many great bands so I'm crossing my fingers. I'm just weary that it's in NYC. I don't think that's a city for me. Anyone wanna help change my mind about that town?
I'm heading to St. Louis next month to give a lecture on how college programmers plan a large scale concert correctly. It's the third time work has sent me out of town to this convention, but the first time I'll be giving a presentation. I can't wait. Anyone from St. Louis know somewhere I have to go while I'm there?
We've got a coffee house concert in a couple of weeks and there has been a who slew of problems with the promo. I'm still working through it, but it's frustrating. I hope it turns out alright. We have a second one two weeks after that and then the craziness starts for our big Spring Concert. I love my yob.
I was asked to help promote a hip hop concert and I don't know if I want to do it. It's with an artist on Young Money records and I hate that record label (except for Drake). Lil Wayne is awful. What should I do? I'm sure it'll be a good experience and all, but my heart won't be in it at all. The guys in charge asked if they could take me out to dinner and to a bar (on them). It kinda weirded me out. I never had anyone ask me anything like that. I feel like a politician dealing with lobbyists.
I was trying to start working out again but my foot decided to wimp out on me. I have an inflamed tendon or something so it hurts every step I take. I mean, right when I get the motivation to hit the gym again my foot feels differently. Anyhoo...
I'm heading to see a few concerts. Let me know if you'll be there!
Anberlin, Circa Survive and FOXY SHAZAM! either the Jan. 22nd in Columbus or the 24th in Cincinnati
Less Than Jake Feb. 11 in Lexington (maybe)
D.R.U.G.S. Feb. 28th in Louisville
Missed y'all
Chris
