The Art of the Tease
Another entry on the same thing...
What do you think is the most important aspect of teasing? What is it in a photo that entrances you or gets you enthralled? Examples, please.
My answer:
The gaze, the eyes, the emotion of the presentation.
The surprise--the juxtaposition of suggestion and the implied hope of revelation. Clothes chosen to conceal and hint at secrets, then a slight disruption or sudden peek at the forbidden or concealed, giving rise to the possibility of further play.
That's taunting, teasing--the creation of cognitive dissonance between what cannot be shown and what might in fact be exhibited. The raising of expectations or hope but no necessary promise of follow through.
This expertly done teasing puts the exhibitor in control, in the power position of classic female dominance, that it is totally up to the woman to decide what you get to see and what you don't, how the pose is framed and what messages it carries. The viewer is left squirming and hoping and begging for more.
Variations/upping the ante: When that same power is accompanied by images that suggest the woman on display is running the show or seeking to dominate...or by other images which suggest she may be submissive or capable of being dominated..or mixed images that leave those questions teased but ambiguous...the effect is doubled or quadrupled.

xip
That both people are equally enjoying it. The teaser and the teased. That they both feel they can't wait any longer.

Shadows and "I dare you" type looks.
And yes, I agree.
