On Tuesday, I got invited to the premiere of White Oleander by Patrick Fugit. Thanks Patrick! My expectations were pretty low, but the movie kinda kicked ass. Alison Lohman was on fire. Best performance I've seen in a really long time. I met her at the afterparty and she was really sweet. Her character goes from a little blonde Pfeiffer clone to a rad Suicide Girl wanna be in the movie. I also saw Punch-Drunk Love in Santa Monica. PTA fans should check it out. It's not Boogie Nights or Magnolia, but it's kind of beautiful. And Sandler actually came to play. He's great in it. Plus it has Emily Watson, my imaginary girlfriend!
