Can you imagine, you have a kid, and your wife carries him and gives birth to him and you raise him and send him to school and then high school and then college and you deal with all the ups and downs of raising a person, and, at the end of this drama, he becomes a professional beach volleyball player?
I was watching ESPN2 today and watching these dudes play volleyball, in a sandbox, for a living, and just wondering what their Dad's were thinking. This is what I'd be thinking.... "Hey dude, I love you and all, but if you had told me you were gonna play volleyball for a living, I would have pulled you out of school after the fourth grade and used the money to send me and your mom around the world about fifteen times."
