My friend Joe is very wealthy and spends his money traveling the world with his lovely wife. He's also a hardcore gourmet. That's his thing. So, Joe's opinion is that the two cultures that have the most amazing cuisine on the planet are the Japanese and the Mexicans. I have to agree. Even though Mexican food is incredibly popular, very few Americans seek out the real stuff and bother to go to a serious Mexican restaurant. They are happy enough with tacos. But, I get it, tacos kick ass. However, real Mexican food is mind blowing.
Still, the Japanese are THE food geniuses. Even budget Japanese is elegant and delicious. I frickin' love Japanese food. I want my last meal to be at Nobu or Sushi Roku.
The only thing that's strange about the Japanese is that they have no concept of cheese whatsoever. They just don't get cheese. Asians, as a whole, don't get cheese. When was the last time someone gave you a nice slice of Chinese cheese? It just ain't gonna happen. Anyway....
I'm hungry.

Say Hi to Cyn for me when you get the chance!
How are things with you and the movies?
Growing up in a Mexican household leads people to believe I like spicy food. I prefer the traditional soups and colorado foods to the spicy stuff.
