I saw Clerks 2 last week and I have to say it might be my favorite Kevin Smith movie. I'm actually looking forward to seeing it again. It has a lot of heart and it also waaaaay over the top with offensive material. I recommend checking it out. Same for Monster House, which surprised me too. Very fun movie with the greatest song over the end credits - ever. I couldn't believe my ears. (I won't ruin it for you.)
I produced a short film that we are trying to get into the Telluride Film Festival. It's called "The White Door" and stars Giovanni Ribisi. We should find out soon if it makes it in or not.
In music news, I acutally bought some vinyl this week. I haven't thrown down money on records in a very long time, but I couldn't pass this up. It's called CALIFORNIA and it is a 10 lp box set consisting of 20 noise/experimental artists. 1 artist each record side. It has favorites like Yellow Swans, John Weiss, Solid Eye and Amps For Christ as well as a shitload of people I never heard of before. If you buy it at Amoeba, it's only about 50 bucks, which is a great deal.
Beer of the moment is HOPSICKLE. Even mtlqueen called it one of the best beers she ever had. Like sucking on pure hop cones...

Ribisi did Heaven. Good flick. I am saddened by people not knowing the name "Tom Tykwer"- he of course did Run Lola Run, which most right-thinking people know of, and The Princess and the Warrior (twice the length of RLR) and Heaven, which, sadly, most do not.
