So long since my last entry. Many things have changed since then. I have found my journal entries ending up on Myspace.com, I am addicted to that site. Well, let see biggest difference since last entry would be lack of job. I was fired after 8 long years. I have been telling people that I quit a year ago, and they just got around to firing me. Which is kinda the truth. I hated it there. I am so much happier now that I am free. One weird thing is I used to imagine having a month off to do what ever I want. Well, so far I have had 2. I am getting a little bored. I really need to get hot on what I want to do with my future. I am really starting to think about school again. For now I am going to find a nice little pt gig at a coffee shop or something to that effect. Thank god I had a savings, and am now getting unemployment. Not much else going on. Still fairly lonely, it seems all my roomates now have girlfriends, so I find my self either alone alot, or in the midst of sickining couple land. I'm not bitter........oh wait I am. Oh well, them's the breaks eh'! I really want to go to NYC to visit my sister. A good friend is moving from DC to PDX and one of my roomates is flying back to meet him in NYC, then driving back with him next week. I am thinking of going if there is room for me. It would be fun. Let's see what else, I still have not started on my book yet. I drew up an outline and feel I have really good start, but the writing has not flowed yet. Another reason I want to get back into school. I have not kept up with my writing skills or habits since leaving school 8 years ago. I have found it hard to get going. Still a bit of writers block hanging around, though I have gotten much farther in this project than others I have attempted in recent past. I think my former job really stifeled my creativity. It is slowly returning. I am super bummed that I missed Built to Spill last week. I did however get to see the Pixies and Death Cab in Bend, so that sort of maked up for it. I have not been able to stop listening to the Pixies, which I don't think is a bad thing. I have also rediscovered my passion of trading live shows, well for now it is mostly download of live shows. Once I have my collection built up I will be able to be a better trader. I have gotten lot's of Pixie shows from old tours and new, some Smashing Pumpkins, the Cure, and many more. I love live shows so much more that recorded music. There is just so much more energy in a live show. God please make me rock star, so I can rock all day and night, nonstop from now until eternity. thanks, George
