**Disclaimer, the following is a rambling blog post of a lonely stoner proceed with caution**
Wow! My last post was May 7th of last year. I wish I could say I had an amazing rest of the year full of fun and merriment. Sadly, it was pretty mundane. I am still in The Dallas and still working at Home Depot. Underpaid, and overworked. But I digress. Any who, I am determined to make 08 a year of change, and I mean for myself and not in the current political situation. I am pretty much at rock bottom socially. I never get to see my friends anymore. It's not their fault that I live 90 miles away, and am lucky to have found partners that suit them; I on the other hand could be any less single. Even my best friend Sheila, whom has been the sole female in my life over the past couple of years, has found a boy friend, something she said she had no interest in numerous times over the past decade. So, here I sit alone in my room staring at a ridiculously huge LCD HDTV/Monitor, typing away at a blog most will never read. Again, I must restate that this will be a year of change for me. Soon, I hope for no more sitting at home looking at this huge LCD HDTV/Monitor, that is unless it is with friends, or dare I say a special lady friend. I guess the first step is to complete resume, send out to prospects in Portland, and hopefully one with the proper salary requirements, and tolerability will present itself, and I will get back into the swing of things, socially and otherwise. I would probably smoke less herb as well. I have been thinking more, and more about playi9ng the guitar, and I am hoping that this will lead to me actually playing my guitars. It has been far to long. Soon, a new Mac with Logicpro should be in my grasp, and that part of me will pick up again as well. Of course I have never stopped listening to music. In fact I am so far behind on things as it is. I wish I could take some vacay time and just immerse myself on the road and in music. I have the most amazing sound system in my truck, but my average commute is 5 minutes to and from work. The weekly venture to Portland, which has not been happening with very good consistence lately, is a good 2 hours of audio pleasure. Back to the Portland thing, I have 3 best friends, and one awesome little sister in the Portland metro area. One in Vancouver, One in Tigard, One in SE, and my sister in Clackamas. It use to be that I could not give enough of my time to any of these people, but now as they have found significant others, I hear nothing from them. I suppose this is the nature of things, growing up. I still haven't quite got the grasp of that, and I'll admit it. Well, I am starting to run my eyes, so that means I am getting really sleepy, and must sign off to bed. I hope you got this far, and what I wrote made some sense. I am not going to read it right now, but just post it in its mostly raw state. I will spell check it though, Well, good night!
