I think perhaps the greatest moment of the summer came when I brought in episodes of Samurai Jack for the campers to watch. Within an hour, they were all reciting the words to the opening theme, in unison, without any propmting whatsoever.
This is a group of boys, anywhere from 12 to 15. All chanting the words to a cartoon. In unison. In front of girls. I was so proud.
I recently found a reaaaaaly old journal of drawings of X-Men. Literally, like ten years old. And I realized that I'm pretty much drawing the same things these days, and by extension, I am more of less the same person I was ten years ago, only now I shave. Which is weird.
