So I saw Dark Knight on IMAX, again, and it was amazing. My friends weren't as enthusiastic so that was a downer but I still loved it.

1.So you are a humorous, nurturing, chocolate chip cupcake? tongue
2. That sounds amazing. I've always wanted to see France.
3. I'm going to have to read that! I love history.
4. Why Africa?
5. I think my eyes are my best feature too. Though I'm sure some guys would say otherwise...
6. How cool! What were you in Rome for?
nobodyherenow:
Late at night, I usually sit and read or watch tv and play around on the internet. I have innsomnia, so I'm up til around 4am or 5am at least!
1. Haha I suppose that makes sense!
2. That seems like it would be so neat! I'd love to learn some proper French country cooking.
3. I love ancient civilizations in particular. I'm not into modern non-fiction, but historical non-fiction? I'm all over it.
4. Really? So have you ever been there before, or did they move before you were born?
5. Thank you! biggrin
6. Rome is another place I'd love to go. So filled with history! And all the incredible buildings and architecture. What do you do for work that you get to travel?

So I saw The Incredibles last weekend with a buddy who loves it. I had never seen it but I have to say it was pretty clever. The extras were great, especially the short with the baby sitter and the baby.

Want to see Journey to the Center of the Earth, Mamma Mia! and X-Files.

Thanks for telling me what you think about the set! I'm absurdly excited and nervous about it. And I'm pretty sure that no matter what, I'm going to be using that corset in my set wink

So "Batman Beyond" was amazing! I think it is one of the best movies made in the history of cinema. I think Heath Ledger will rightly win whichever Academy Award (lead/supporting) he gets and it has nothing to do with his death. He surpassed "Jack" and has joined the canon among roles like Hannibal Lecter. What do you all think?
nobodyherenow:
I loved it. It was simply amazing, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
And Heath's performance was truly some of the most excellent acting I have ever seen. That Oscar is his!

So I just finished this powerful Chinese film "Curse of the Golden Flower". It was visually stunning as usual for Chinese cinema. The storyline was quite convoluted, too. If you have never tried Chinese cinema you should treat yourself.

I'm so sorry that I've been so horrible lately. I got the pictures to the printers, and they should be sent out to you very soon.

Did you see The Forbidden Kingdom? It was absolutely amazing!

I shall continue my research and document it with photographic evidence..... wink

Last Saturday I attended the Eye Candy Burlesque performance at the Blue Dome in Tulsa. They were great and I look forward to seeing them perform again. I encourage you to see them in person! The women were skilled performers, wore sexy costumes, and represented every physical shape from thin to voluptuous.

So its been awhile since I posted!

Has anyone seen "Sex and Lucia" with Paz Vaga from "Spanglish"? It was a sexy movie with a fantasy plot much like Almodovar's movies or some of the earlier Spanish surrealism like Bunel. I don't that I liked the narrative inthe end, I felt manipulated, but it was interesting. Did I mention it was sexy?

Getting lots of...

We survived another round of twisters tonight. The local news cannot wait until the storms are over so they can show all of the damage footage. The wind pushed the rain sideways at 50-100 mph depending where you were and who you believe.

Local ABC affiliate has photos posted for now in the spotlight section of the May 7 storm

I have been out of town twice since my last posts. Time to get back on schedule. I am running ragged at work and have NO time for me! I have enjoyed a little time catching up on She Hulk comics and snuggling with my cat, though.

I spent the day working at home watching Top Chef and the Millionaire Match Maker on Bravo. I have decided that this is not a sad life! smile

I am going to watch some hoops with a buddy later so that is a little more social.
aiceanta:
Is this season's Top Chef any good? The only one I saw was the Miami one and it was awesome.
