I'm sitting here at twenty past five in the morning and I am completely wired. I have consumed no coffee today... no caffeine at all. I am fueled by anger and thought. I had neglected to turn the television on today until very late. I ended up watching a program about Castro. I watched a program that was about the crash of Air Florida flight...

So... quick update:
I was going to buy another car this weekend but then my better senses took hold of me and I didn't. The thing about buying cheap cars is that it is always a good idea to have two so that when one breaks you can drive the other car while fixing it. I don't know, I'm just getting this feeling that my...

So I don't know. I cut the mullet off of me. It's nice.
I also went out for the first time in quite a while last night, to this place up north where they do karaoke. Not many people were doing it, so I got up there a bunch of times. The crowd was nuts though- I got up there and sang some Cars and...

awwww fuck. I have two driveways at my house, and I just shoveled both of them. One of them is hsuper- huge. I also shoveled some stuff tonight at my parents' house, too.
It has been a busy day of shoveling.
My arm may well be a bit sore tomorrow. We will see.

I did accomplish some other things, though. I received a $75 gift...

i hear you. one of my greatest fears is that i'll finish up my degree and just stop playing entirely. but really i don't like very many of the successful professional musicians i know, so maybe it won't be such a tragedy.

"One might as well make no mistake about it, human beings have nothing to say to each other; they only tell each other their own personal troubles and that's a fact. Each for himself, the world for all men. They try to shift their own unhappiness off onto somebody else when they make love, but it doesn't come off and, do what they will, they...

my life is turning into a John Irving novel... minus incest.
I wish I could just say to certain people the cruel things that I think when they cause me pain and I talk to them (though I did manage to get one 'wait and see' in there). I am scolded for not calling or keeping touch but it's because it causes me less pain....

I'm not even kidding.
I'm so mad. I feel like crying, actually. It's funny because I had even copied it a bunch of times as I progressed so that in case of an IE malfunction or something...

So I guess it's about time I updated. I just haven't had much to say lately. this will be short because I have to leave for work soon, but I have a new folder of pics up for your viewing pleasure. It's mostly pictures of my house, which is nasty enough that I guess I want to show it off. For all of you wanting...

go to this page and see what your result is. i'm provisioned at 1.5 MB, which is about a 180 KBPS download speed. before, i was provisioned at about half of that, even though i was within the correct distance to get a faster rate. i would call them every few weeks or so, saying i should be getting faster speeds, but they claimed the problem was a poor-quality line somewhere and that it wasn't their problem. luckily, i finally got a good tech, and she doubled my speed while i was on the phone with her. don't know how or why, but i don't care.

now they're offering a 3 MB speed for $10 more, but is only for people 11,000 feet or less from a central office. anyone less than 18,000 feet should automatically be getting 1.5 MB download, 384 KB upload. if you're having problems keeping a constant speed, you should call them, 'cause that's one of the pros of DSL over cable.
