so the bad man has won.
There are few positive ramifications and yet there are lots and lots more bad ones, but for once I'll try to be an optimist:
1. I believe that Bush will do more for this country than Kerry ever could. Of course, it is the reverse of the process that I would like to see, but after enough coathanger abortion deaths and thousands more young people die in Iraq for a lie, after enough young people are arrested without their rights being read to them because they wore a Bad Religion shirt to school, I can only hope that people will see what is happening and will fight hard to change it.
2. Bush's presidency is also a positive success story, as it shows that people who are complete failures can still be President.
I personally am waiting for the day when a park ranger comes to my parents' house and asks them if he can put a plaque on it because the forests have been destroyed.
The thought of these next four years scares me, but I am just hoping that enough people will get pissed off, that enough people will finally stop equating 'patriotic' with 'conservative'.
Well, no matter. The USA is about to see what eight years of reactionary ideas will do. I just wish that people would think proactively and vote progressive because if you fix a problem before it happens, you don't have to deal with that problem plus all of the ensuing complications later on.
So.. aside from that, I felt awful this morning. I threw up three times [or was it four?]. As far as I know, this problem is unfortunately not related to the election. I still feel awful, but it's been a few hours since I last tossed my cookies.
I have been watching the Transformers a whole lot lately. I now have the first and second seasons.
I am bored.
