Just random thoughts for the day.
Isn't amazing how good a dog can make you feel at any time?
(I haven't had cats so I don't know if its the same)
And I apologize ahead of time for the rather heavy thoughts below -
Did you hear about the latest bombing in Baghdad? There's a report (it was in the NY Times today) that some car bombers entered a secure area by having children in the backseat of their car. They were waved through the checkpoint because up to now, people with children were not profiled. Supposedly the bombers pulled up outside a building, jumped out of the car and detonated it with the children still inside. If its really true, that's messed up beyond all reason. I can't believe what train wreck we've created over there but I don't think our presence has anything to do with that kind of thinking. I mean damn, to even think of blowing up children just to get at your enemies. I mean holy shit, wtf.
And finally, will myspace really have an impact on the elections? It will be interesting to see. Obviously the Presidential candidates think so if they are investing their time into it. But will it really matter. Remember when MTV did Rock the Vote? They got a ton of their audience to register and then nobody voted and look who we ended up with. But it will be interesting to watch. Lol, for some reason I really do love politics. I'd never want to be involved in them but for me its kind of like a crash on the freeway, its kind of difficult to look away.
Maybe I'm just reading too much of the paper lately and need to play a little more.

About dogs and cats... I have a dog. My boyfriend has 3 dogs, 4 cats, 3 turtles and some other animals. After I met him I know that I'd rather have a cat, but they can't make you happy any time. And mostly they are sweet just with their owner
