Just a couple of pics that show why NY is so interesting. One is of the coolest entrances in the gallery area in Chelsea. The other is a sign someone has painted on their rooftop that has a W with a slash through it and says "Fugedaboudit" written around it.
Riding the subway this morning and I saw a father and his young son. Obviously the father had taken away the boys toy by the time I got on the train. The boy kept asking for the toy and the father kept saying "Don't axe me anymooare" (pronounced nothing like "anymore"). I love that kind of stuff. The subways are the best places in the world to see the real side of a city. I enjoyed the same thing when I lived in the Bay Area and rode BART all the time.
