Where Lavern & Shirley came from!!! Just a short jaunt from Chicago!!!?! ...the city I live in is relatively large (by our standards) but it is cheaper to fly to Indonesia than it is to fly to the next major city. Incest is also a popular pastime.

Gawd, I no complain!!! The weather over here would give Miami a run for it's money. Even though I mostly stay indoors... and only go out at night!

i miss the midwest party scene . . . the most intense musical experiences i've ever had were there. Ritchie Hawtin in Louisville, Jeff Mills in Ontario, Clark Warner, John Acquaviva. there's a great music scene out here, but i think the underground nature of the midwest made for more immediate experiences. the only thing that can compare out here are illegal undergrounds thrown by thirty year old ex-ravers who just can't let the vibe go . . . . thankfully smile
