Heeeeey all,
Today I want to share the most inspirational books I've read when I was younger, because if you don't know that yet, I'm a real bookworm :)
It was difficult to chose tbh, but I think my top 3 is :
1. Les Miserables
Ok, I know this one sounds so cliché because I'm french, but I just love Victor Hugo's work. This guy was truly talented, and this story is so horrible I always dreamt I could go inside the book and save Fantine, Cosette and Jean Valjean.
2. La philosophie dans le boudoir
My mother owns a house in Provence, near the castle of the Marquis de Sade. I visited it, and read this book... This book and my sexual experiments made a real switch inside and from this day I knew my sexual life would never be the same.
3. Les Fleurs du mal
CLICHAY. I know BUT I can't fight my frenchiness you know. Charles Baudelaire is so goth it would be an "outrage" not to talk about him here. This book is full of dark poems and melancholy, it's just sadly beautiful.
And so, your turn : what were your favorite books when you were younger ?
