Hey you!
My favorite phrase is...
Je sens fondre sur moi de lourdes épouvantes
Et de noirs bataillons de fantômes épars.
In english, it's something like this :
I feel heavy terrors pouncing on me
And black battalions of scattered phantoms
It's a quote with 2 alexandrines, from the Baudelaire's poem "Women doomed" (which comes from the book "Les fleurs du mal"). I absolutely love it. It doesn't necessarily represent WHO I am (hopefully), but it's my definition of melancholia. I can say it's one of the only quotes I can remember from all the poems I've read in my life, and I just love it. Sometimes I say it out loud and people automatically start think "woooow how brainy you are girl !". Lol, yeaaaah.
I also love this poem because it's about a woman (Hyppolyte) who loves a man, and another woman (Delphine) who loves Hyppolyte. Unfortunately, the poem has been censored because, well... People were not really open-minded at these times.
That's all for today :) tons of french kisses to you, by the way!
