So, it's now 2007. I am hoping for a clean slate this year, truly. There were things about 2006 that were great (i.e.- many great live concerts, and great sex for the first 9 months of it). There were many things that were horrifically harsh as well too, both emotionally and physically. The last month I have been on the rebuild, so I am planning to do things differently. I went to the beach last night, and cleared my energy of things that had been holding it back, and I felt cleaner. It was a good thing to do, and I am ready to move on now.
This weekend was pretty nice. On Friday, I went out for the first time since I've been so sick. We went to see some of the members from Skinny Puppy playing records at Das Bunker. The music was mediocre, but I had a good time anyways. It was the kind of set like "Oh, I don't know what I'll be spinning......I think I'll just get up there and start putting on my records and see what happens". But, as I said before, I like to make my own fun, and I did. On the way home we played with my new camera, and I am into it. Here's some pics:

Saturday, I was wiped out.........so I stayed home and watched movies and painted. I will post pics of my art when it is done. It felt pretty good to paint and have that paint all over my hands.........
Last night, was pretty chill all around. I went to a friends, and we ended up playing mankala until almost 11, when our other friends showed up. We made a taxi driver wait for us to do a line, then we went to this creepy club around the corner. I don't know if it was really crappy coke, or if I just don't like it anymore, but I was really anxious the whole time, and felt weird around people. So I hid my anxiety with dance
After a certain point, I had enough, and wanted to go get my bike and ride home. Trying to catch a cab in Long Beach on New Years is futile, and the getting home situation wasn't looking good. Soon, I had random guys offering to take Ginger and me home, when, aha: The City Bus. God bless them! hah. So at 1:40 am, we got on the city bus, cracker out, and headed back to Ginger's place.
this is us on the bus:
Anyways...........it wasn't exactly how I planned spending the night, but it was fun all the same. And I was a smart kid and drank lots of water, and didn't indulge to heavily in anything, so I am not hurting today. I am hoping that 2007 will be much better............and here's to a new start.

Was your profile picture taken at the Burn? I'm squinting to see, but the profile pictures are so small! I assume any picture taken in a desert type environment is a Burn picture, but that is just my one track mind.
