Last Friday I had the pleasure of spending the day in San Diego, and then seeing an amazing concert at night. I went down there to see Ani DiFranco play, and I couldn't have asked for a better time. It was nice to get out of LA for a few hours. I've been so busy lately, that it just felt good to go south, where the air feels different.
The concert was incredible. It was so moving, it is hard to put it into words what it was like to experience. It also felt great to be around so much female energy. Hell, the women even took over the men's bathroom downstairs, and security made the men go upstairs if they needed to use the restroom. hah.
She played the set with Todd Sickafoose on upright bass, and her on guitar (six months pregnant). I have been a big fan for many years, but this was my first time seeing her live, and it blew me away. I have never been so touched by a performance. Very soul-soothing................
I also had a lot of fun taking pictures, which I added to my albums. Check 'em out.

Thank you for your comment...Your right curves don't seem too popular round here. Oh well, at least there is a few. It sounds like you had a fun time (which reminds me, I need to get out more!)
