Good morning coffee and cookies. And Good morning you.

I just noticed this morning that I never read a.m. or p.m. as their letters, but as either "in the morning" or "at night". I'd never read 8 p.m. and say or think, "Oh.. it's at 8 P.M." I'd say or think "Oh... 8 at night." What do those things stand for, anyways?

So, I like soup. Partly because soup is good good good, but also because it's cheep! So the other day, I bought some good looking, cheap clam chowder home and upon further inspection, I noticed the label said, "Just Add Water and CLAMS" - what the heck! May as well just add the milk, potatoes and whatever else you put in clam chowder while I'm at it. I'm such a baby in the kitchen.

Yesterday morning I went to church for the first time who knows how long... but it was a non-denominational church that a psychic friend from back home recommended, and I'd been wanting to check it out for a long time. It was awesome, to say the least. The Reverend was amazing, the sermon was fresh and insightful, and the music was actually very good. Plus the people were nice. A couple of other things I noted:
-I expected the crowd to be full of religious non-denom rebels, but it looked just like every other church crowd I've seen.
-The liberal attitude of the church extended a little too far into the consciousness of the 20-something couple seated directly in front of me... who kept kissing and nuzzling and whispering in eachothers ears... basically making me want to ralph all over the pew.
-There was a moment of meditation during the service where it was deathly quiet... and you could feel the tensions falling and pooling in the floor of the church. That was a first for me. It was amazing.
-The church is in the middle of a neighborhood that is basically a large Somalian community. On the way there, I got more than a few sideward glances from its inhabitants. But then, when I got in, there wasn't a Somalian in sight.

I'm doing research for a debate topic on Gay Marriage, and came across the subject of Ex-Gays yesterday.... as in, someone who was gay but was converted by their church into homosexuality. That's just... off... in my mind.

Does everyone in their 20s feel like they are getting crazier everyday.. or is it just me? I feel like the little men inside my head are on coke, and they keep running into things, knocking stuff over, making a mess.
Alright.. wrap it up, A-girl. Time to hit the showers.

That church sounds pretty interesting...I'd love to check it out with you sometime. I have a book you might want to look at for your debate called "The Bisexual Option". Not only does it talk about different continuums of gayness, but also the flip flop thing, and it even has a fun little grid to plot yourself on!! Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say hi. I've been crazy busy lately settling in....but now I'm all moved and finally have internet at home. Sorry if my crazy drunk friend scared you when you came over to visit! She's a little much sometimes.

Haha, it's like the hot older guy from college who has a car while you're still in high school. I'm a cradle robber!
