And I finally get around to updating. So what has been going on? Well...

Currently one of my co-workers is out on medical leave. She went and had knee replacement surgery for both her knees. So guess who gets to pick up the extra work? Yep, me. It totally sucks. I'm just completely swamped.

On the good side of things, I had a great quick visit with the girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. I even met her mom who is totally awesome. She has no problem with the fact that I'm way older than her daughter and made me feel completely welcome.

The girlfriend got her promotion and will start her new position at the beginning of the new year. This will make it easier for her to transfer out here and have a job in place when she moves in August.

Last weekend was the Survivor finale weekend. Unfortunately I got too chatty this time and totally forgot to take pictures. I think I had WAY more fun at this one than any of the past finale parties. Too bad I had to leave early on Sunday night because of work the next day.

I'm just trying to get through my last work day this week and then it's on a plane to San Jose to be with the family for Christmas.
