It's been a bit of a busy week... still playing catch-up at work.
Monday was actually one of my better days in a looooong time. Maybe because the boss left me alone and I was able to put my head down and do as much work as possible. It's amazing how time flies when you're busy. Also, the one argument I was expecting from the attorney who I send the HUGE doctor bill turned out better than I expected. I even got him to agree to pay for most of it. Everyone at the office was looking at me like I just performed a miracle. Hmm... I should try to turning water into wine... or at least a good beer.
Tuesday the boss was in a bit of a mood early on. It seemed like she was looking to get in arguments with people. So I pretty much avoided her as much as possible.
Today was just more work, work, work. Although, I did prove once again to my boss that I actually do know what I'm talking about when it comes to computers. She called Dell tech support for help with the computer that died last Friday and since she didn't know how to explain what was wrong, she drug me into the whole conversation. I kept the guy on speaker phone so my boss could hear while she hung out. Not only did I confuse the tech with our problem and he had no idea how to fix it, but the dude didn't even know the specs of our computer that Dell designed. I sooooo knew WAY more than he did. My boss actually looked at me with an expression of "holy shit, you really do know this stuff". Alas it will probably be long forgotten when she needs me to fix something again.
