Some good news...
My boss came into my office today to let me know that they are going to give me a raise.
I wasn't sure if I would since the company has been barely getting by. But it's so cool. I was the only one to get a raise last year and now it looks like I'm the only one to get one this year as well.
Now I can only hope they don't try to raise my rent this year like they did last year. If they do, I think I'm gonna move. There are pleanty of for rent signs around and I'm sure I could find a cheaper and possibly better place. We'll see... I really don't want to spend the money I have put to the side for a security deposit. But I will if I have to.
I would like to save up the extra money I'll be getting to finally get me a laptop so I can take my online addiction anywhere I go. Again, another we'll see.
