Wow, what an exhausting week.
So, here's how things began...
basil123 and her boyfriend ra0ul arrived here last Wednesday evening, but since they had been traveling all day and by the time they got here it was like 1am their time, all they wanted to do was sleep.
Thursday, I went to meet them as soon as I got off work. All I can say is that I chose my friends well, in real life and online. As soon as we got in the car, we were cracking jokes and laughing like we've been hanging out for years. I took them to get some dinner at Farmer's Market. Pleanty of choices of food and they have a couple of bars so we could get drinks. Afterwards we went to a little hole in the wall bar in Hollywood I know and had some more drinks.
Friday, I took them to get their first taste of Underground. It turned out to be a good night, a bunch of old regulars showed up.
So, I introduced them to all my friends. Everyone thought they were cool. They has a total blast... they even started requesting a few songs to be played.
Saturday, we spent the day at Disneyland. We pretty much stayed in the main park, but were able to ride all the cool rides. After a while, Anthony showed up to join us. What better way to spend your first time at Disneyland than with someone who used to work there to point all the cool stuff out to you.

We did pay a visit to Mickey's house so they could get their picture taken and we came across some of Mickey's draws set in the walls. One kind of had us questioning things.
We decided it was one of two things... either Mickey has a drug problem or this is where he keeps his condoms.
Sunday was pretty much a day of rest for everyone.
Monday, The Dark Knight was seen... such a kick ass movie.
Tuesday, I took them to the Beauty Bar in Hollywood. I guess I take all the places I know for granted. They thought it was cool that I know all these fun little places that not a lot of people know about. ra0ul got hit on by this fairly cute girl... twice... while basil123 and I were still sitting right there. It was hilarious seeing him squirm as how to react. He basically gave her a bunch of one word answers until she got the hint that she wasn't getting anywhere and gave up. He then turned to basil123 and thanked her for her help, which led into a round of poking fun at him.
Alas, that was their last night in town.
But we're already talking about another trip.
Sorry about the lack of pictures... I did have my camera on me all the time, but the thought to take pictures hardly popped into my head. I so suck at remembering to do that when I'm having fun.
Tomorrow I'm off to Comic-Con for the weekend. This is so gonna rock!

I've just read two 500-page books on vampire romance in just a week! I'm on the third installment, while the fourth comes out in August! I am just so enthralled..like the silly girl that I am.
