So the pink eye is much better... pretty much gone, but I still have to keep up with the eye drops until they are gone.

This weekend was pretty interesting...

So Friday at Underground... well, it wasn't really Underground. The Echo kinda screwed over the club again by booking two shows and setting Underground to begin afterwards. Yes, I was able to get into a sold out show of Super Furry Animals for free... and it was a good show, but I really wanted a night of Underground. I did get to spend a good part of the night bonding with my friends though. I guess there's always some sort of bright side.

This entire weekend was Double XP weekend for City of Heroes, so I spent pretty much all of Saturday online playing with my video game friends and my brothers.

Sunday I went over to my friends Berrie and Kamla's apartment for dinner. It was lots of fun drinking and hanging out. My friendship with Berrie just got that much stronger... we took a drive to go get her some cigarettes and she decided to trust me with MANY secrets from her past in order to ask my advice on some stuff that's been going around in her head. Apparently everything I was told she has never told anyone in its entirety, only in parts. You have no idea how special this makes me feel... to have someone trust me with so much in such a short period of time knowing me. I guess I've made a friend who's going to be another important part of my life.

My first day off from work today was a nice rest. I was able to go out and run some errands that I have putting off for WAY too long. I might even do some cleaning tonight... we'll see. I'm going to see if there are any substitute teaching jobs for tomorrow now.
