Drawing again. For someone who has and art degree I don't produce a lot of art. Every time I go back it's like reinventing the wheel. I need to warm up, my mad skills are hella rusty - overall I'm just not that good unless I've been working regularly.
I started with this. About 4 hours worth of effort Friday night.
She doesn't look bad but clearly isn't a Lindsay Lohan.
Next another 4 hours Saturday.
Now proportions are better on this but she looks worse.
And today after maybe 6 more
She sorta looks like Lindsay Lohan.
For whatever reason, for those first 2 I wasn't setting the images up next to each other and stepping back to measure, correct, take reference, etc. Highlights are washed out in the image but I need more gradation either way. I still need to work on that right (her left) eye and maybe that lower lip but it's close enough for me do other stuff.
