Well, I'm baaack! At least for one more year.
Gonna see City Lits adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyles A Scandal in Bohemia and The Final Problem. Those arent necessarily the 2 Holmes stories Id adapt but Im just going to see the play. A Scandal in Bohemia is the first Sherlock Holmes story and my favorite. It was brilliantly changed into the film Zero Effect though there is no mention of the source material in the credits or commentary.
City Lit is best known (to me) for doing P.G. Wodehouse adaptations. So much so when Nick Hornby came to town last summer (promoting Long Way Down) I was able to steal time from the next guy in line by mentioning it. Those wacky brits ALL love their Wodehouse.
