5 days until spring break. To be honest I"m kind of looking forward to it this year, if only to get a break for the people I work with. My patience has been at an all time low the past few weeks and what little I have must be rationed for my own younglings, and children a doctors note to add stress to my life. Not the fresh off the boat teachers who thought this program was a walk in the park. (ego trip in 3...2...1) We just make it look easy, it takes a hell of a lot of work to build/maintain a rapport with these kids, don't know what made them think that they could walk in off the street and teach their classroom like the more experience teachers do. You have to plant the seeds if you want to reap the rewards, and yelling at Heavy D will not get you anything unless you want to see an already damaged kid shut down even further. proud moment: Heavy D said my name this week; well he sad "wolf" but he was with me, and no wolves were present so I"m going to count it, since it is what most of the kids call me. I have so many Christmas cards for Mr. Wolf (ego trip ends)
hope all is good for you guys, I may actually have a date over the break, if I can find a sitter for the younglings, since Disney Mom has gone on an indefinite hiatus (not helping my patience reserves.
either way I will have a new girl after break

Your job sounds like what they do at the place my wife works except instead of separating those kids to part of the school they made their own school and all the surrounding districts send their kids to them. It takes an amazing amount of patience and a strong heart to do what you do. Enjoy your break.
