Finally spring has arrived, spent the afternoon playing outside with the younglings, followed by movie night, Hugo. Even though Oscar nominated Animation doesn't excite the kids as much as one might think, and it is slow enough that I"m writing a blog entry during it.
So we watched Clone wars last night, and, well... he came back
While that may have been exciting enough for my two burgeoning Star Wars geeks. My daughter's reaction was hilarious, she literally screamed "THAT"S IT!!!!" at the TV. I asked her what was wrong ans she frantically explained that all they did was show him, he didn't fight anyone or anything. It's going to break her heart when she learns that that is how all scifi/comic book reveals tend to go. Weeks of build up... teasers.... and when the big moment finally happens... that's it, it happens and then its gone... then three words resolve on the black screen, To Be Continued. I supposed in my jaded age I have become used to it, but it felt good, to see that feeling of excitement, anticipation and disappointment in my little princess, its yet another thing that we share, because now there is nothing we can do but stayed tuned for next week....
Started watching Game of Thrones on the old lappity-toppity box. So far so good, its the first time I've seen Sean Bean and he didn't instantly strike mas untrustworthy and shifty.
