The saving grace is that it is a 4-day work week. The 3 day weekends make it worthwhile (pretty much).

i have a migraine headache.
i can't afford to smoke anymore.
i miss intimacy, but he messed up.
my car needs new brakes and my heater doesn't work.
my mom was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and her medications are completely botched up. she's in a lot of pain and i can't help her.

I know she messed up but that is over with now. I wouldn't have any contact with my ex whatsoever if it wasn't for my love of my dog. That kind of sounds like a lot to go through for a pet but she is my baby. I wish I could have her to myself.

my heart and brain are still intact after a loss
an inevitable loss, but a loss non-the-less
i now am looking forward to whatever is in store for me
whether it is good or bad
depending on the circumstance, it will either be appreciated or gracefully dealt with

i had a good day today, which was a major improvement from yesterday. yeah, i was bitter and upset. my original core group of friends are being awesome these days, and honestly it's a welcome distraction. a bike ride, coffee, ice cream, chipotle, and good conversations with good people is where it's at. i miss yesterday but this is ok too.

I've got lots of stuff to be happy about, and most of the time I am. That just doesn't always show up on here.

i had a funky smell in my apartment recently, and then it just went away, on it's own. it smelled like death, though, so i am worried that when i move out i'm going to find a mouse or bird corpse somewhere under something... it smelled all sweet and mouldy and minty and sharp like blood--coppery...
