Today my shift at work got canceled.
Again.
I think I may need to find a new job, one with guaranteed hours, as I've become accustomed to eating on a regular basis.
Anyways, so, instead of transcribing the ire of southerners whose customer service experiences were less than satisfactory, I'm vacuuming and then making the trek to the bookstore for my textbooks, which I've been putting off because my art history textbook has got to weigh 15 pounds just by itself, and I am really not looking forward to carting the damn thing home.
Speaking of home, mine is changing soon. A friend of mine bought a huge house out on the west end and is renting out all the spare bedrooms to help pay his exorbitant mortgage. Oh, Edmonton housing situation, how I curse thee. The rent is going to be more than I'm paying in res right now, but I'll be living with people I actually like, rather than random ladies the University assigned me. Also, so much delicious vegetarian cooking will be done. Drool.
I'm a little spinny about starting a new semester, and moving for the 9th time in 5 years, and trying to find a new, more reliable, job all at the same time, but I'm keeping the stress at a manageable level, mostly through chocolate and food involving melty cheese.

Hope the job search finds you something you'll enjoy and is a bit more reliable.
