grarg.
i forgot how much i hate interviews. and i hadn't been to one in almost 2 years, so the part of my brain that comes up with snappy answers was pretty much comatose.
at one point, the woman who was interviewing me asked about wine knowledge (it was an interview to waitress at a fairly nice restaurant), and for gods sake, my uncle runs wine tasting seminars! for a broke 20-something my knowledge of different types of wine is pretty extensive. i can tell the difference between a merlot and a shiraz. i know what temperature to serve them at, and when you need to decant them. but did any of this (normally useless) knowledge pop out of my head when asked? nien!
sigh. mental block.
but, vancouver tomorrow!
crap. i should pack.
