so, september is once again rolling around, and this means people are moving back into the dorms i live in.
right now there's a u-haul van parked outside my window. now, as some of you may know, u-haul transports are often decorated with a picture respresenting one of the many fine locations that u-haul services. the one currently hanging out outside my building is apparently from hannibal, montana. and the picture they chose to represent hannibal was a frog leaping through a desert. not, sadly, an old white dude eating someone's brain. which, i think, was a grevious error on their part.
so, in honor of the fact that school is once again creeping up on me, at the library today i changed my reading selections a little from the brain candy i've been gorging on all summer to some serious literature. you can always tell it's serious literature when the title/and or cover design has nothing whatsoever to do with the actual story.
so right now i've got a giller prize winner, a giller prize nominee, and anna karenina.
ok, so i guess the title of anna karenina sort of has something to do with the story. damn, there goes my theory.

this leads me to believe my LITERATURE is less serious than yours.
