Fuck, what a day.......
So i'll start off by saying that the singer of my band found something neat that you may or may not have heard of, It seems that Ozzfest is having open call auditions for unsigned bands to play a slot on Ozzfest 2005. pretty cool. So we have to be there by 9AM. ok great.
Im NOT a morning person at all, so i had to be up at 6:30AM, to go and pick up everybody else and beat the rush hour traffic. By the time we get to the Hollywood Palladium where the auditions are being held its about 8 and there's already a shitload of people there. oh well.
So we go find our spot and begin what i call the "death march" aka the slowest line i've ever been in in my life.
Hours go by we move maybe 4 feet every half an hour.
And here's the funny part. I cant remember what time of the day but maybe 4 hours in, Ozzy and Sharon show up, along with Kelly and Jack of course. So they all say Hi and all that and Sharon gives the "your all winners to me" speech. Thanks Sharon.
At around 3pm we finnally make it inside to be interviewed, it was pretty silly, but hopefully worth standing up for 8 hours in the hot LA sun with no food in us.
So when we finnally make it home its around 5pm and im in so much pain, i got the most wicked sunburn on my arms face and neck. So now i have to go into work tommorow lookin like a lobster. Thanks Ozzy.
added to say that there were cameras and all that crap everywhere, so it will more than likely be on the Osbournes sometime in the future. yay.
