In Grand Forks. That's OK for now, though very unexciting (I do get to read my sister's copy of the new Harry Potter book...). Tomorrow and Saturday night are going to suck. I may just need to walk over to Whitey's and have a few by myself. Something about my nature, I can't spend weekend nights in the house, or entirely sober. Curse not having friends here anymore. And curse you and your fling with California, Erin!
I could've sworn there was some other sort of news, but it seems there isn't. Glad to see my family. Glad to see my doggies and kitties. Disgusted to have cable TV available (why? Two words: Jessica Simpson. Or have you not seen the music video for her cover of "These Boots are Made for Walkin'?" Poor fuckin Willie Nelson. Poor fuckin Nancy Sinatra.)
Oh, and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is surprisingly good; Johnny Depp is no Gene Wilder, and all the '00s glitz and computer animation will never make up for the charm of '70s camp, but nonetheless...a decent flick.

quite the opposite, I love Harry Potter and was very jealous. But I stopped by target on my way home so I too will soon be enjoying the new book.
