Well, "Team America" was good, if not brilliant (though parts qualify). And I've decided billybillybilly is in fact cool enough to be Fearless Leader.
Along those lines, I'm calling neodrunk Boris and d_c Natasha. I realize this could sound slightly insulting. It's not meant that way at all.
I'm so damn sick of the sight of this place (campus). Is it wrong that I'd rather be working 40 hours a week than doing this? Maybe I should have dropped out when I was going through the worst of last year's depression. It remains to be seen what a degree in English can get for anyone. Eh.
I notice some of you have been instituting the whole d_p thing. Bad creatures, bad! Are you, in (roughly) the words of Wilco, trying to break my heart?
If anyone ends up truly, insanely bored or insomi-fied tonight, you would be able to find me at the Highland Park Perkins from about 3 to 6. I've decided no sleep for me tonight, and it's going to be a bit chilly to hang out all night. Plus, who am I kidding, I need coffee.
Ever have the feeling where you know exactly what you want, like the fuzzy, lintball remnants of a vapor of a dream, cascading dimly around your head, but you have no idea how to put the thing into words? And so it remains, like the wasp you're trying to kill, just flitting & fluttering outside of your grasp...
Hey, it's maudlin time!!
No, really, the thing most bothering me is that it's been almost 2 months since I saw my best friend. This is the guy I was supposed to get and apartment with in Sept, before it all fell apart. Nobody I know is more fun than that dude, and no one understands or appreciates me as well. Damn shame we're both straight males. Curse you, Watson and Crick!
Oh, and billybillybilly and I got matching "Team America" wristbands. BFF! Actually, I'm using mine as extra padding on my giant man purse's shoulder strap. Creative, I am.

you know, as soon as you do get to work 40 hours a week, you'll just end up wanting to be somewhere else, doing something else, maybe.
