I just saw the list of your favourite songs you posted a while back. Funnily enough, I've played more than half of them in the past, and several are regularly in circulations in my sets, both solo and with bands.

1. I Don't Care (Ramones) (Is part of my occasional solo acoustic Ramones set)
2. Long Black Veil (The Cash man) (have been playing for 30 years or so)
3. Since I've Been Loving You ( Led Zeppelin) (have probably played - long ago - just don't remember for sure - cobwebs in my mind blur portions of the past)
4. Love Her Madly ( The Doors) (done with band s afew times - regualrly do a few other Doors tunes)
5. To Sir With Love ( Al Green) (never done - but I love Al Green)
6. You're the first,The last, My everything ( Barry White) (good song, but nope)
7. Smoke Two Joints ( Sublime) (Done at least 6 or 7 times with bands, and it's probably going to appear from time to time as part of my reggae medley with my band the Park Bench Mutations
8. Badfish ( Sublime) (another good song I've never played)
9. I still miss someone ( Johnny Cash) (have played solo a couple times - I play lots of JC)
10. And I love her ( The Beatles) (Like most Beatles songs, I've likely played it a few times - I currently regularly do In My Life, A Day In The Life, I Am The Walrus, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, and Blackbird.

Although at my show Saturday night I d none of those songs, great selections!

I have to make it to SoCal sometime. Maybe next summer (stupid work limits me to june/july and a few days around xmas).

My life has been social. drinking with work mates is always a laugh. The main thing I have been doing is buying the last minute things I need before I go to America for a month and stay with Saveme. Only 7 sleeps to go

i can't even remember the last time i even had a drink! It seems none of my friends now drink so i feel a bit foolish drinking around them!!

Bob Dylan is a self-described "BIIIIIIIIG Mr. Burns fan," an "NEVER miss and episode" (of The Simpsons). I don't know what the prize is. Hadn't thought that far.

I did just get a good-quality CD of the show Dylan just did in Mannheim, Germany on April 20th, and have already made 4 copies for people.

Or, I see you like Etta James. I also have a set she did on New years Eve in (I think) 1982-83 backed by the Grateful Dead.

Or a really rough recording I made of the Butthole Surfers when my first band was one of a bunch who opened for them at a benefit decades ago. Nice folk. And, contrary to the proclamation on the "White EP," when they play, the stench from the stage is not overwhelming. Which leads me to believe the one of the other assertions they made on the EP is false. I tink the actually DO wipe their asses.

Those guys are great. I too once tried to smoke Elvis Presley's toenails when I wanted to get high, but Icouldn't get a good draw, and they kept going out. Plus, the pin in my shoulder from all that exhuming was brutal.

I really do need to shoot a new set... You should come help How are you doing, since you've been working like a maniac?
