just my luck...so I'm driving home on the freeway and literally 5 min from my house everything on the freeway comes to a stop. And stays stopped and continues to be stopped. It was like a fuckin' parking lot. Proceed to spend the next 2 hours sitting in my car watching the lights of fire trucks and police cars pull up in the distance. Helicopters and ambulances coming and going. I eventually had to climb up through my sun roof to see what was going on. But in the dark all you could make out were all the flashing lights and the occasional silhouette of an emergency worker. Much craziness.

Never really found out what happened but it must have been quite bad. Thinking about it, I should be thankful for only having to suffer the inconvenience, as I'm sure anyone in those life flight helicopters would have gladly trade places if it meant only having to wait an extra 2 hours and getting home safely.
