Hey folks! I hope everybody had a great time doing whatever they did for New Year's Eve last night. As I found myself with a nice, roommate-less house all to myself, and I'm not dating anyone right now and most of my friends are out of town anyway, I elected to stay in and watch some movies and reflect...and it was cool. The simplest N.Y.E. I've had in years, and one of the best...

The big news for me is that I am about to enter my cave for a serious rewriting bout this weekend. See, there's this one script I've been futzing with on and off for 2 years (!). I have a meeting next week about another project and I want to have a showable draft of this one in case it comes up. The guy I'm meeting, Nathan, is now a (working) producer, but he started in the business as an intern for me in the sound department on a film I helped some friends with about 10 years ago. He's been loyal as he's moved up through the ranks - which is a rarity, it seems. I'm supposed to mix another movie for him this summer, and I am hopeful that we can do creative business together this year also...
