Since my SG posse is limited in scope, I could probably just zap off about 5 personal emails and say hi to everyone separately...but this is also an exercise for myself, so here goes:
I am very positive about my creative prospects for the New Year. Mainly, I have decided to produce and direct Tom (fentopal)'s script - which is excellent, IMHO. My partners are equally into it, and once we get through the holidays we'll actually figure things out...
I really want to shoot 35mm film, and also expect to need a crane at least one day, plus we'll hopefully shoot our exteriors back East somewhere, so keeping the budget within scope is gonna be a challenge...but if it was easy, everybody would do it, right?
And there are several other things cooking, though I don't wanna jinx myself by chatting them up too much just yet. But with any luck, 2004 looks to be the payoff for some of the groundwork and back-breaking effort that went into surviving 2002-3...
