What a cool week! After being unavailable every time he's asked me this last year, I was finally able to go out and work with my friend Ben on "Alias". What a great cast and crew vibe they've got going on: 3 seasons in and they really are a big tight family. They shoot out on the Disney lot in Burbank, which is truly a happy place if there ever was one...
Now, I love working on indie movies but man, I can't wait to get on a series for a few years and make me some mad loot - which I'd then pour into producing my own projects every chance I could, natch.
More positive creative developments recently: it looks like I will be directing a feature for my producer friend Kevin sometime next year. It'll be one of his low-budget extravaganzas, but hey, lots of people who cut their teeth working for Roger Corman turned out just fine...
Meanwhile, I'm looking for shorts submissions to direct for the festival market next year as a warmup to the movie. If you're interested, go to my website and click the Submissions link at the bottom of the page, and email me if you wanna know more...
Went to my friend Jill's birthday party for her boyfriend Mike tonight and enjoyed much drink and chat, and received more than a few compliments about my newly longish hair. It's finally grown out enough to look intentional and not like I am just too lazy to get it cut. I don't make too many pictures of myself, but I should get a new one soon since I look much more West Coast now than in any I have posted.
Okay, I'm fading fast and I better get some sleep, because at noon, I am going sailing for the first time since moving to Santa Monica over a year and a half ago. Luckily, my buddy Blue is a badass on the water and all I have to do is cough up my share of the rental and hang on...

I've got a few unproduced shorts saved up -- leftover from Film School. Two come to mind: a non-dialogue script about a bearded lady on the lam and a period piece about a boy home from boarding school trying to kill his new sister (both comedies). What kind of stuff are you interested in doing?
