so, music videos nite part two @ MoMA
not as reveltaory as least week, but they did show BEAT IT by Michael Jackson, and I have to say, despite it's positive message about racial integration among street gangs (and their secret dancing inclinations), that video is so ridiculous that I couldn't even laugh at it. Just had to shake my head in a sort of transfixed awe.
The highlights this week had to be The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonite (Dom-dom-in-ate, dom-dom-in-atrix) and Sharkey's Day by Laurie Anderson. Surprisingly, The Cars video You Might Think held up pretty well. Next week is going to be great with Weezer, Aphex Twin, and all the good new stuff, although any music video retrospective without the Smack My Bitch Up video by Prodigy can scacely be called a retrospective. I LOVE that video.
thanks for saying hi

ps- I added myself as a friend of myself because I couldn't take the taunting any more.

very good move.
and also, i've never actually traveled to the east coast, so consequently i haven't seen the museum of modern art, a shame, i've really really always wanted to, the st. louis museum of art, leaves much to be desired.
ok now for the ever present d-plan lyric,
a favorite...
the alkaline lips, her fingers hooked around my belt, she had to go, she took a step back and then she started to smile, i heard a funny sound then everything seemed to shift now...(this could be wrong, but my own interpretation, perhaps)
Hey, excellent selection of comics!
