"If i could tear down the light remould it to be my friend. If i could break through the darkness and sever it's holding trend. " - Luke J Sammut
I woke up at four o'clock this morning to voices in my room. While I was still in that weird half-dream half-waking world, this for some reason didn't seem weird. The first thing I noticed that seemed off was how weird the voices sounded. Canned and scripted. Then I realized...I LIVE ALONE!!
I shot up in bed, ready to run out the front door, when I saw my kitty sitting on my dresser, looking at my alarm in that cute head-cocked-to-one-side way that only kitties can acheive. She had stepped on the radio button and woken me up at four in the morning!! Ahh!
When I woke up a few hours later, I saw that sometime during the night she had knocked over all of my laundry that I hadn't put away...Ergh. Now she's all coked out on catnip. If she weren't so damn cute and fluffy I swear she would be back on Nantucket!!
But I have raised my kitty since she couldn't even eat solid foods, and I don't think I could live alone without her. I often wake up in the middle of the night, and she is laying on me, purring away, and it makes me feel really safe.
And she doesn't even pay attention to my fish, which is cool. The last aquatic creature I owned, the family dog ate. Hah.
I am getting my sixth tattoo the 13th of October... I am so psyched! It's just in time for my birthday, so I m using the excuse that it's a bday present to myself. And I am so much more excited for this birthday than any other I have ever had because I AM GOING HOME for the weekend! I am such a dork, I have already called all my friends with responsibilities of any kind and made sure that they booked a babysitter / will get the night off from work / whatever so that they can be there, and everyone has RSVP'd that they're going to be with my for my bday! It will be so much fun. I didn't even have this many friends lined up to come for my 21st.

That's the kitty!
Peace homies!
