As a truck driver, I am getting a preposterous amount of work. D.O.T. Hours Of Service regulations state that a driver cannot work more than 80 hours in 8 days. Because of my rotating work schedule my days off are frequently 7, 8 and 9 days apart. I usually get to my day off with around 3 to 5 hours of available drive time and only 10 to 12 hours of available work time.
Today was my only day off this week and they tried to call me in.
